MEETINGS

Our meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of the month at

Los Amigos Restaurant

                      5088 N Blackstone Ave Fresno                         Social Time is at 5:30 and the Meeting starts at 6:00

OUR NEXT MEETING

Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 7th, 2023. Our speaker will be Wilma Tom Hashimoto. Wilma is the Executive Director for CASA of Fresno and Madera Counties. She has dedicated her career life to positively changing the trajectory of children who are considered at-risk. Her experience includes being an Assistant Superintendent for Fresno USD, Director of Early Learning for the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools and Assistant Director of Child Development for Clovis USD.  

 

Wilma holds a Masters degree in Education Supervision and Administration from Fresno State and a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

 

Wilma also serves as board of director for the Fresno Chaffee Zoo and San Joaquin River Parkway Trust. Wilma served on the CASA of Fresno and Madera Counties Board from 2010-2018 then became their Executive Director in July 2018. For her community and educational contributions, Wilma was named a finalist for Fresno County Administrator of the Year, Marjaree Mason Top 10 Professional Women, 2019 Women Who Inspire Girls award sponsored by the Girls Scouts of Central California South and was named 2022 Fresno County Mother of the Year.  

 

Wilma believes that every person has the ability to individually and collectively make a positive difference in their community and for her, it is CASA-the Voice that Matters for Foster Youth.
